This is the 2nd setup using the 3
meter steel bar next to the wooden top aspect setup. The steel bar is about 2
foot lower and at about 5 O'clock looking at the CCD sections. both ends of the
steel bar rest on 25 Kg concrete slabs and are secured with multiple
cords.
These
are readings from closely matched images from the steel and woooden bar. As the
wooden bar is 2 meters and the steel bar 3 meters the steel bar was corrected
down by 60 %.
2nd setup 3 meter steel
1st setup 2 meter wood

Below is a graph of the steel and woode3n bar data with the
steel bar corrected. this is just an early study and i;m trying to get better
resolution with the steel setup but am having difficulty getting the center of
the spot on the CCD. the width and length of the data plots is consistent
however there is a peculair shift of orientation of the 2 plots. the
reason why is not yet figured out. Pink is the wooden and blue the steel
data.
