There are two keys to understand our universe. One is motion the other is charge.

The smallest particles known, the series of quarks and electrons are thought to be in continual motion. The neutrons and protons which the quarks make up and the electron series are thought to have their own basic vibration. The atoms made of neutrons, protons and electrons have an internal motion. One property of matter, which can be measured, is heat and heat is a reflection of motion. The more motion the hotter something is. Molecules, which are comprised of atoms, also have a motion associated with their properties. The biological material, made from molecules, relies heavily on motion. Life is continually moving small particles around in the biological processes. One example is combining amino acids into proteins. The whole energy process of life uses motion. Moving energy rich bonds around accomplishes biological work. The other combination of atoms and molecules make up the inorganic aspect of matter. Stones, diamonds, dirt, crystals are examples of the inorganic side of matter and these all have internal motion. The planets, comets, stars, asteroids all have particles of atoms and molecules. These have also associated motion through space. Gravity holds these in place and helps set their orbits and motion. The solar systems all move in concordance with their components, following the laws of motion. The suns in a collection of a galaxy are moving and dragging their planets around with them. The galaxies all have their own circular motion around a central point. Galaxies in clusters orbit around each other. Superclusters of galaxies have their own motion rules.

Interestingly enough one question is how some matter substance gets from one place to another. Amazingly a person can will his hand with a pencil in it to move from a desk to a chair setting. On a very fine scale how does the composite of the pencil move from one area to the other? What forces exist on the pencil?
